Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) – A Certified Ethical Hacker is a skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker, but in a lawful and legitimate manner to assess the security posture of a target system(s).
CEH is from EC Council and has multiple other certifications in Cybersecurity.
Certified Network Defender Certification - The Certified Network Defender (CND) certification program focuses on creating Network Administrators who are trained on protecting, detecting and responding to the threats on the network. Network administrators are usually familiar with network components, traffic, performance and utilization, network topology, location of each system, security policy, etc. A CND will get the fundamental understanding of the true construct of data transfer, network technologies, software technologies so that they understand how networks operate, understand what software is automating and how to analyse the subject material. In addition, network defence fundamentals, the application of network security controls, protocols, perimeter appliances, secure IDS, VPN and firewall configuration, intricacies of network traffic signature, analysis and vulnerability scanning are also covered which will help the Network Administrator design greater network security policies and successful incident response plans.
CND is a skills-based, lab intensive program based on a job-task analysis and cybersecurity education framework presented by the National Initiative of Cybersecurity Education (NICE)
EC-COUNCIL CERTIFIED SECURITY ANALYST (ECSA) -- The ECSA the program offers seamless learning progress, continuing where the CEH program left off.
Unlike most other pen-testing programs that only follow a generic kill chain methodology; the ECSA presents a set of distinguishable comprehensive methodologies that are able to cover different pen testing requirements across different verticals.
Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) -- There are good penetration testers and then there are great penetration testers.
Unless you are bent on being nothing other than the best in penetration testing, don’t bother registering for this program, as you are probably not cut out for it.
We know that the only way to find out what you are made of is by testing you at the brink of exhaustion — which is why the LPT (Master) exam is 18 hours long!
Your Pen testing skills will be challenged over three levels, each with three challenges, against a multi-layered network architecture with defense-in-depth controls. You will be required to make knowledgeable decisions under immense the pressure at critical stages while selecting your approach and exploits.
Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator Certification (CHFI) -- Computer hacking forensic investigation is the process of detecting hacking attacks and properly extracting evidence to report the crime and conduct audits to prevent future attacks.
Computer crime in today’s cyber world is on the rise. Computer Investigation techniques are being used by police, government and corporate entities globally and many of them turn to EC-Council for our Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator CHFI Certification Program.
Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) -- The CCISO Certification is an industry-leading program that recognizes the real-world experience necessary to succeed at the highest executive levels of information security.
Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) -- The Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) credential is developed in partnership with large application and software development experts globally.
The CASE credential tests the critical security skills and knowledge required throughout a typical software development life cycle (SDLC), focusing on the importance of the implementation of secure methodologies and practices in today’s insecure operating environment.
Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (C|TIA) -- Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (C|TIA) is designed and developed in collaboration with cybersecurity and threat intelligence experts across the globe to help organizations identify and mitigate business risks by converting unknown internal and external threats into known threats. It is a comprehensive, specialist-level program that teaches a structured approach for building the effective threat of intelligence.
Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) – CRISC is the only certification that prepares and enables IT professionals for the unique challenges of IT and enterprise risk management, and positions them to become strategic partners to the enterprise.
Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US) – Backed by ANSI/ISO accreditation, a CIPP/US credential delivers higher earning potential and increased promotion opportunities because it shows you have a strong understanding of U.S. privacy laws and regulations.
Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) – CISM means higher earning potential and career advancement. Recent independent studies consistently rank CISM as one of the highest paying and sought after IT certifications.
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) – Enhance your career by earning CISA—world-renowned as the standard of achievement for those who audit, control, monitor and assess information technology and business systems.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) – Accelerate your cybersecurity career with the CISSP certification. Earning the CISSP proves you have what it takes to effectively design, implement and manage a best-in-class cybersecurity program.
Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) – With a CCNA Security certification, a network professional demonstrates the skills required to develop a security infrastructure, recognize threats and vulnerabilities to networks, and mitigate security threats.
Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP) – This certification is aligned to the job role of the Cisco Network Security Engineer responsible for security in routers, switches, networking devices, and appliances, as well as choosing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS solutions for their networking environments.
CompTIA Security+ – CompTIA Security+ is the first security certification IT professionals should earn. It establishes the core knowledge required of any cybersecurity role and provides a springboard to intermediate-level cybersecurity jobs.
